Women in Data Science (WiDS) is a global initiative led by Stanford University. WiDS Hubballi is hosting a datathon workshop to support the WiDS global datathon challenge on climate change. WiDS Datathon participants will analyze differences in building energy efficiency, creating models to predict building energy consumption. Participants will use a dataset consisting of variables that describe building characteristics and climate and weather variables for the regions in which the buildings are located.

In support of the global Datathon, WiDS Hubballi is hosting a datathon workshop to help the participants hone required data science skillsets and participate effectively. Kaggle grandmaster will be taking sessions in this workshop and provide customized guidance to participants to ace this datathon challenge successfully. The datathon workshop will cover the nuances of navigating Kaggle platform effectively, data processing, model development, testing and submitting the winning solution.
